on an Enviromentally Friendly Farm
We are longtime organic growers who are committed to using sustainable, earth friendly gardening, and follow healthy living practices. Our daylilies are field grown in soil enriched with MOFGA certified organic coffee grounds, our own compost and composted local manure. All our plants are proven hardy in our Maine cold climate. No chemical sprays are ever used. We use organic fish emulsion foliage spray and we hand weed everything. We plant, grow, and dig them by hand so you get fresh, hardy, quality plants.
Daylilies: We have over 7,000 daylily plants representing over 200 varieties of field grown daylilies on our farm. Available in a wide array of colors from basic reds, purples, and yellows to the more exotic fuchsias, peaches, and coppers. Daylilies require little care and become large clumps in a short period of time, yielding many lovely blossoms and foliage, that stay lush and green all season. One of the most popular perennials in existence, no garden should be without them! We picked our favorite varieties to sell to you online. Perennials: On our farm we also have over 2,000 perennials potted and field grown that are proven hardy to Maine. Many sizes, colors and shapes, sun loving to shade loving.
FarmHouse Organics: Our soaps, salves and skin products follow the strictist definition of the word natural. All our products are free of artifical colors and fragrances and are made with the highest quality ingredients. Certified organic oils are used in our soaps and all organic ingredients are used in our salves.
FarmHouse Designs: Rustic garden furniture, Twig & Birch Furniture and natural birdhouses are all Handcrafted using unique and traditional designs.
